When it comes to installing a new reticulation watering system, you need to do things properly and use the right parts. Do it once, do it right and you will have lush lawns and gardens all summer, every summer with parts that last! You definitely do not want to skimp when it comes to your new system.
A few things (but not all) that need to happen to give you a reticulation system are:
CORRECT WATER PRESSURE
Your reticulation system needs to be designed and laid out in a way that maximizes the pressure you have that the reticulation systems works properly and provides full coverage.
HEAD TO HEAD COVERAGE
A good and efficient reticulation system is designed to ensure that each sprinkler is able to throw to at least one other sprinkler. This makes watering even and effective and especially important for healthy lawns.
CORRECT SPRINKLER HEIGHT
Nothing worse than too low or too high.
A good controller, which some come with a warranty, can be programmed to comply with watering restrictions.
Good quality parts purchased from a reputable supplier and manufactured by a recognised brand will ensure your reticulation system will last the distance.
Installation by an experienced professional will ensure your reticulation is installed to the right specifications.
An Automatic Watering system will save you time, water and money. Standing outside with a hand-held hose watering your lawn and garden everyday can be a tedious and time-consuming exercise. With a home reticulation system you will have:
- Regular water on the correct day week in and week out to ensure even plant and lawn growth eliminating many dry patches.
- More time to spend on your lawn garden and family
- You will save water and money
- Peace of mind
- You can go on holidays without worry
WATERING RESTRICTIONS – MAINS WATER
With a Residential Reticulation system that runs off the water mains you can water two times per week and apply 10mm of water over the lawn and garden area each time. Different sprinklers have different run times refer to the Water Corporation recommendation. Please note not every type of sprinkler has been included in this.
WATER RESTRICTIONS – BORE WATER
With a Water Bore you can water three times per week, this option is enough to convince many people to water this way. With rising water costs this can be an option for some people. Although the initial cost to drill and install a new submersible bore can be easily as much as the irrigation system itself if not more it is offset by the fact that you will be getting free water year in year out. Not only that the extra watering day in the week can make a substantial difference when it is 40 degrees in the heat of summer. We can easily install a new Submersible water bore for you that will deliver free water to your lawn and garden.
